MDE’s own system will not let us schedule a lead paint inspection until the registration is current. Pay the renewal on the MDE portal (about 5 minutes), then come back and tap “I have paid the renewal.” Homeowners who live or will live in the property do not need a registration: go back and pick “My own home.”
